Ever thought having a car parking ticket to look after at an airport adds more pressure and stress as you try not to misplace it?

You’re in luck as Birmingham Airport is changing the way it operates its car parks.

The airport has announced that those who wish to use the car parks will no longer need to use tickets.

Instead, the airport will soon have ANPR cameras in place which will scan vehicles’ registration plates and automatically raise the barrier with no ticket needed.

The airport apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused while the improvements take place.

A car parking space can be guaranteed at the airport when you book one online.

Doing so means you’ll have access to all official car parks and be able to book easily using your online account.

The airport also offers discount codes and parking offers plus all the car parks have CCTV and regular security patrols.

Electric vehicle charging points are also available should you need them.
