A MAN accused of causing a danger to road users and drink driving with no licence had his case adjourned. 

The first hearing of the case of James Jones, of Crown Lea Court, Borrowdale Road, Malvern, took place at Worcester Magistrates Court. 

The 33-year-old is accused of five charges; causing danger to road users, drive motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, use a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, drive a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and criminal damage. 

Jones is accused of committing the offences while driving a Peugeot in Alcester Road, Astwood Bank, near Redditch on October 11 last year.

It is alleged by the prosecution, that Jones grabbed the wheel of the Peugeot from the driver in the causing danger to road users offence. 

And in the criminal damage offence, the prosecution says Jones caused £1,386 damage to the Peugeot.

Jones did not attend the hearing on Tuesday, (March 7). 

Jonathan Wiltshire, chairman of the magistrates bench, said they were adjourning the case for the next hearing to take place on April 14 at Worcester Magistrates Court.
