ARSONISTS are thought to be responsible for a bin fire.
Fire crews were called to the Old Coach Road and Tagwell Road junction after a bin was on fire at the bus stop.
The small rubbish fire had been put out prior to the Droitwich crew's arrival at 5.13pm on Wednesday (March 16).
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “HWFR was called out to a small rubbish and refuse fire in Worcester Road, Droitwich, at 5.13pm on Wednesday.
“One crew from Droitwich Fire Station attended the scene at a bus stop between the junctions with Old Coach Road and Tagwell Road.
“The fire had been extinguished prior to arrival and the details were passed to the police as it was a case of suspected arson.
“The incident status was changed to pending closure at 5.30pm.”
