A gastropub in Birmingham has been named among the top 50 in the UK by Big 7 Travel.
The High Field is a 41 minute drive from Worcester and was recognised in the list which sees gastropubs across the UK recognised for their food, atmosphere, drinks menu and more.

The High Field
This gastropub in Birmingham has a seasonal menu which changes throughout the year and it has a garden to enjoy in the warmer months.
Big 7 Travel said: “The High Field perfectly combines top quality pub food with modern brasserie dishes.
“The menu changes seasonally, but make sure to order the halloumi fries with Bloody Mary ketchup as a side dish!
“There’s also a spacious garden and sunny terrace to explore after your meal, and plush rooms to spend the night at in next door’s High Field Townhouse.”
The High Field was ranked in 41st place in the list.
The gastropub has a rating of 4 on Tripadvisor with reviews praising its food and service.
One reviewer said: “Travelled some distance to eat lunch at The High Field but it was so worth it. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance wonderful and the staff friendly and efficient. We have booked to return shortly as we loved our visit so much.”
Another said: “We were staying in the hotel next door so ended up coming here for one dinner and two breakfasts. We were not disappointed.
“Firstly, it is a gorgeous establishment. I only wish we had come when the weather was better so we could have gotten use of their outdoor space.
“The staff are very friendly and helpful with food served promptly. The food was amazing and reasonably priced.”
