EXISTING warm hubs will be able to continue to offer a warm welcome after they received additional funding.
Platform Housing Group and EEM are investing £30,000 to help the hubs stay open.
The housing provider will allocate the funding to several organisations across Worcestershire - its first being £400 to St Paul’s Church in Worcester.
Platform Housing Group has used £20,000 from their Wellbeing and Community Chest Funds and a £10,000 grant from the EEM Trust to support the existing hubs.
Chris Stacey, operations manager at St Paul’s Church, said: “We are absolutely delighted to accept this donation which will help us with the rising costs of heating and food and being able to continue to provide somewhere warm for members of our community."
