GRAFFITI-style stickers featuring bizarre messages about sexuality, drugs and offensive comments about hatred of police have appeared in the city.

The stickers feature the name 'Chrimbo Jimbo' and contain strange messages including 'be gay, do crime'.

One person, who wished not to be named, this week described the messages as 'worrying'.

The messages have appeared both on bollards and a post box.

One contains an offensive acronym referring to the police while another reads: "My name is Chrimbo Jimbo and I hate cops'.

They all have a motif of a person who is in the shape of a Christmas tree.

It is not clear how long the stickers have been in place - but Worcester City Council says, now it is aware of them it will remove them.

Another has also appeared on a bollard near the junction of Pump Street and High Street.

A spokesperson for Worcester City Council said: “We are arranging for these stickers to be removed.”

We have also approached West Mercia Police for a comment.
