Local baby signing class TinyTalk have been celebrating all things Easter with their annual fancy dress parties.

The award-winning group who hold classes in Evesham, Droitwich and Worcester North welcomed little lambs and ladybirds to the event.

Local teacher, Mollie Prior said: “In the last six months we’ve had a real signing boom across Worcestershire and we have opened up three new baby signing classes and two new toddler talking classes due to demand.

“Awareness of the benefits of sign language continues to grow as new parents look to find ways to support early years development which we know are of upmost importance.

“Our families also know how to have a lot of fun and love the opportunity to celebrate spring, a time of new beginnings and opportunities.”

TinyTalk classes are held weekly in Cropthorne, Crowle, Droitwich, Dumbleton, Hanley Swan and Worcester and are one-hour sessions.

The classes are full of songs, games, books and sensory activities followed by playtime and refreshments.

During the class babies and parents are taught signs from British Sign Language to help their little ones communicate before they can speak.

“This gives them a voice allowing them to express their thoughts and needs,” Mollie added.

“This results in far fewer frustrations and tantrums and very happy, understood babies.”

There are toddler talking classes too where the emphasis moves onto talking and other valuable skills such as turn taking, team work, sharing and social skills.

TinyTalk is an award-winning team of more than 90 franchisees across the UK and Switzerland.
