A WORCESTER man has been ordered to pay over £700 for dodging £97.35 train fare.
Seamus Byrne, 25, travelled on a Great Western train from London Paddington without having previously paid the required fare on Thursday, September 22, with intent to avoid payment.
Byrne, of Cedar Avenue, had his verdict proved in absence at the City of London Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, April 5.

He was fined £330 and was made to pay compensation of £97.35.
Byrne was also made to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £132 and to pay costs of £180.
He has until Wednesday, May 3 to be the total balance of £739.35.
