A MAN was left with serious injuries after a stabbing in Dines Green.

Emergency services rushed to Drake Avenue in Dines Green after reports of a stabbing at 8am this morning (May 4).

One man was treated for serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

Another man was assessed before being discharged at the scene.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene.

Midlands Air Ambulance landed on the Honeywell Primary School field.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing in Dines Green this morning at just after 8.00am. 

"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene. 

"One man was treated for serious injuries before being taken by ambulance to hospital on blue lights. 

"A second man was assessed before being discharged at the scene."

A spokesperson for Honeywell Primary School added: "We are pleased to assist Midlands Air Ambulance in an incident in Dines Green and help our local community."

Worcester News has contacted West Mercia Police and is awaiting comment.
