POLICE have carried out high visibility patrols after a man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Officers from Warndon Safer Neighbourhoods Team are patrolling Saddlers Park and Sainsbury's on Windermere Drive, Blackpole.
Hot spot patrols are conducted by the police in areas which aim to discourage offenders from taking advantage of opportunities to commit crimes.

A Warndon SNT spokesperson said: "Wardon SNT is conducting hotspot patrol in Saddlers Park area, and Warndon SNT has been conducting high visibility patrol Sainsbury's in Warndon."
