TRAFFIC lights have gone up in London Road causing delays for drivers.

The National Grid roadworks have been put in place this morning (May 31) on the road between the junctions with Foxwell Street and Sebright Avenue.

The two-way signals went up overnight and, according to Worcestershire Highways, are planned to be there until June 6.

The roadworks are described as for "utility repair and maintenance works".

Long queues on both sides were regularly building up during the morning rush hour.
