DELAYS are expected after a build of cars has been reported on the M5.
Traffic has built up on the M5 southbound in Worcester between junction six (Worcester) and junction seven (Evesham).
According to the AA, there is slow-moving traffic at both junctions, and an eyewitness said the traffic is almost at a standstill.
Neighbouring roads leading onto the M5 are also experiencing long delays, like the Whittington Roundabout and the A4440 towards County Hall.
A spokesperson for the AA said: "Severe delays of twelve minutes on A4440 Crookbarrow Way, Westbound between Thornhill Road and A44. The average speed is five mph.
"Delays of four minutes on M5 Northbound between M5 (Strensham Services) and J6 (Worcester), and the average speed is 20mph."
