A WORCESTERSHIRE historic swimming pool has been revealed to be a national hidden gem.
Droitwich Spa Lido has been identified on a national list as one of the most secluded Lidos in the country.
The Lido, in Lido Park, Worcester Road, is on the list of the UK's best hidden Lidos, where you can enjoy a swim in relative peace and quiet.
The list is based on an analysis of shared hashtags on social media in the country.
The Lido had 194 on the summer day analysed making it into the top 10 list.
The attraction is the only one in the Midlands to make the list which was topped by Jesus Green Outdoor Pool in Cambridge with only three hashtag mentions.
Droitwich Lido boasts a 40m pool, wet play area, sun terrace and Little Al’s café which provides light refreshments.
The Lido always recommends booking - available two days in advance - through its mobile app.
The research was carried out by bath retailer Showers to You and considered all possible variations of the name in the hashtag.
