A MAN was seen climbing up a crane causing concern for onlookers.
Worried eyewitnesses called police after seeing the man at Worcester Racecourse on Friday evening (June 16).
Two police officers and two police cars were parked at the racecourse.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "At approximately 7.40pm we received a report of a man climbing a crane on Pitchcroft in Worcester – our caller said he appeared to be climbing down when they called and had climbed down completed.
"Our officers arrived a few minutes later and there was no sign of the man."
