Get ready for a whirlwind of parties, eligible gentlemen, and scalding hot tea.

Illyria Theatre will finish off the season with Robin Hood on Sunday, August 20.

It’s a fast-paced heist for all ages - and Robin Hood never misses a target. The action-packed production delivers huge laughs, daring adventures, and well-deserved revenge.

Tickets cost £16 for an adult, £12 for a child, and £50 for a family ticket. All performances begin at 7pm, with gates open from 6pm.

Organisers advise guests to pack a blanket or low-backed chair to sit on, weather-appropriate gear, and a picnic if you wish.

The café will be open before the performance begins and during the interval for ice creams and other refreshments.

The William and Mary-style country house is a National Trust property set in 400 acres of parkland.

This year, it is celebrating 70 years since the National Trust save it from being demolished because of Sir James Thornhill’s historically significant wall paintings.

When the National Trust began restoration work, the property ceilings were on the brink of collapse.

To celebrate, the trust is challenging visitors to complete 70 ‘things to do’ at Hanbury Hall - seven a month from February to November.

The activities encourage people to visit favourite locations on the site and get closer to wildlife and nature.
