A second burglary took place on the morning of Monday, July 3 on Main Road, Kempsey, where a silver Peugeot was also witnessed at the scene.

Later that day, officers intercepted a silver Peugeot which they stopped in Henwick Road, Worcester.

They arrested two men from the Birmingham area on suspicion of burglary.

Some of the items taken were recovered by police who have also made enquiries in the Jewellery Quarter area of Birmingham in a bid to recover further property.

The South Worcestershire burglary team is currently questioning two men in custody about the incidents while investigations continue.

DI Dave Knight of South Worcestershire said: “This is a good example of various units working together with the goal of making South Worcestershire a tricky area for burglars to ply their ‘trade’.

“I would encourage anyone who saw a silver Peugeot car in the area around these dates to contact the burglary team at Worcester Police, quoting incident number 188_I_01072023.”
