A 22-YEAR-old man has admitted being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control. 

Asaan Mahmood, of Bestmans Lane, Kempsey, near Worcester, admitted the offence when he appeared before Worcester magistrates on Tuesday, (July 18). 

Asaan Mahmood admitted six charges of being the owner/person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury and a further offence of being the owner/person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing no injury.

The court heard Asaan Mahmood had two XL Bully dogs who caused injury to six people. 

All the offences took place in Hedera Road, Redditch, on December 12 last year.

Asaan Mahmood was told he would be sentenced at Worcester Crown Court on August 18.

A second man, Ansar Mahmood, 58, of Apple Tree Road, Pershore, faces identical charges but denies the offences.

His case was sent to Worcester Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing on August 15.
