The English Curry Awards 2023 were held on Monday night (August 14) and two restaurants in Birmingham were recognised.
Basmati Restaurant won the Best in Birmingham prize while Titash won the Customer Experience of the Year West Midlands award.
Titash was also named the overall winner for the Customer Experience of the Year category.
Both restaurants have been praised on Tripadvisor with Basmati Restaurant receiving a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 480 reviews while Titash has a rating of 4 out of 5 from 180 reviews.

Basmati Restaurant has been praised on Tripadvisor for its “superb food” and “absolutely amazing service”.
One reviewer said: “Brilliant restaurant I use this whilst at a neighbouring Holiday Inn. Reasonably priced and excellent quality food. Well worth a visit if in the area.”
Another wrote: “What a find! A definite 5 out of 5. Superb food and excellent staff. Will definitely be back the next time I'm down in Birmingham.”
Titash was also praised by its reviewers on Tripadvisor.
One reviewer wrote: “Amazing food, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The perfect evening out for couples, families and friends.”
Another said: “Very Good Value for Money here and friendly staff. Food is as it is described and very good quality - we went back twice after this visit bringing other people as well.
“They will modify food to your requirements as well. Recommended”
