FOODIES formed long queues to taste some award-winning Beefy Boys burgers.

The Beefy Boys partnered with GoodRoots cafe to deliver burgers from a pop-up stand at the Royal Worcester Porcelain Works in Worcester.

Customers could use the GoodRoots tables and feast on their Beefy Boys burgers while listening to music.

Long queues had formed along one section of the square as foodies waited patiently to get their hands on the world famous food.

"It is good that we finally have a burger joint that has won some awards, almost famous now, they just need to open a shop in Worcester," said Beefy Boys fan Adam Ball.

"We have travelled to Hereford a couple of times, and the Cheltenham store is great, but we want one here.

"We said we would go down at 3.30pm to make sure we can get a burger and grab ourselves a table."

Beefy Boys started serving food at 4pm, and the queue has grown since.

For some queuing, this will be the first time they will try a Beefy Boys burger.

Emma Gonzalez said: "I have heard it's really good, and I want to find out for myself - it looks good.

"GoodRoots is a nice location for this."

The world burger championship finalists and winners of the National Burger Awards have a significant following and have drawn in large crowds on previous visits to Worcestershire.

Adman Groves said he had one of their burgers last week but had queued today to have another.

"We saw them advertise, saying they were about this week, so we decided to stop and have some nice food," he said.

"I've had it at the Food and Drink Three Counties Festival before, and then Tuesday, just gone, we had it at Madresfrield.

"I had it then, and now I am about to have it tonight as well.

"I have been a fan for a couple of years now."

Beefy Boys will be outside GoodRoots until food runs out or untill 8.30pm.
