The Oral Health Care Professional award is for dentists, orthodontists, hygienists, dental nurses, dental practice manager or receptionist or anyone work in oral health care who demonstrates an innovative and caring approach to their work.

This person must demonstrate outstanding levels of commitment to patient care and put the patient at the heart of what they do.

The 2023 awards will culminate in a black tie dinner for all the finalists at the Abbey Hotel in Malvern on Thursday, September 14, where the winners will be announced.

Northwick Manor Dental Practice

MYDENTIST in Ankerage Green, Worcester, is a foursurgery practice providing a variety of NHS and affordable private treatment plans, including general dentistry, facial aesthetics, teeth whitening and teeth straightening.

The team is thrilled to have been nominated for the award. Connor Batty, practice manager, said: “Our team really focuses on providing the best possible care for our community, and we’re lucky to have such wonderful patients.”

Offering a range of affordable options across NHS and private treatment plans, the dental practice is as inclusive and caring as possible.

Droitwich Dental Studio

DROITWICH Dental Studio is a busy practice right in the heart of the High Street and its owner AJ and his dentist wife, Neha, are really pleased and humbled that their patients nominated them for an award.

AJ said: “I have had more that 2,000 thank you cards from patients and I am really touched that patients put our name forward.”

Droitwich Dental Studio has all the latest technology available to ensure patients’ teeth and oral health is the best it can possibly be. AJ and Neha, have had the building majorly revamped so it is accessible to absolutely everyone including full disabled access.

There were just two staff working at the previous practice - Droitwich Dental Studio now has 12, creating and attracting many local jobs to the High Street.

The practice does not take NHS patients but instead offers an affordable monthly membership scheme to keep prices to a minimum.

AJ said: “People can tend to worry that if they don’t find an NHS dentist, it won’t be affordable - we prove that’s not the case”.
