A 27-YEAR-old man denies burglary but admits criminal damage.

Reece Silk, of Westminister Road, Worcester, will now face a trial in the new year. 

When the court clerk read out the count of burglary Silk replied "Not Guilty". 

In that count Silk is accused of burgling a property in Tudor Way, Dines Green, Worcester between July 11 and July 14 this year.

A second count of criminal damage was then put to Silk, which he admitted.

The court heard Silk committed that offence between July 11 and 14. 

His Honour Judge Nicholas Cole told Silk - who was given conditional bail - his trial would go into a warned list meaning it could be called on at any point after January 8 next year.

The judge warned him to attend the trial or it would take place in his absence.
