THOUSANDS of people in Worcestershire were without internet after Sky broadband went down.

Over 73,000 people across the UK lost broadband - including reports in Worcester, Malvern and Droitwich - according to DownDetector.

The majority were without power between 10pm and 1.30am last night (Tuesday).

This morning, just under 1,000 homes in the UK are still having issues with Sky broadband.

On the Sky Help website a message appeared at 10.50pm reading: "We are aware that some Sky Broadband customers have been experiencing issues.

"Our engineers have now resolved this however If you continue to experience issues please complete a power reset on your Sky Broadband Hub.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

They have said the issues are now resolved and people need to reboot their Sky Broadband Hub if they are still facing problems.
