TAKE THAT has announced they will be adding an extra date when they perform in Birmingham due to demand.

This Life On Tour will see the trio - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – play 29 dates across 15 cities around the UK and Ireland, coming to Utilita Arena Birmingham in May 2024.

They announced they were performing on May 14,15 and 17 in 2024 but have now added an extra date May 19.

They will be joined on the tour by special guest, Olly Murs.

Announcing the news on X (formally known as Twitter), Take That said: "We're extremely excited to announce that we are going on a tour of the UK & Ireland in 2024!

"You can get pre-sale access by pre-ordering our brand-new album ‘This Life’ from the official Take That UK store before 10AM BST on the 26th Sep."

The post was accompanied by a video showcasing Take That's various performances featuring the likes of Gary Barlow as well as their upcoming tour dates.

Take That currently hold the record for the most performances at London’s The O2 with 34 headline shows.

2011’s Progress tour broke box office records by selling over 1 million tickets in less than 24 hours, becoming the biggest tour in the UK and earning them a place on Billboard’s annual ‘Top 25 Tours’ list, placing third worldwide.

In 2019, the band celebrated their 30th anniversary with the 38-date sell-out Odyssey tour which saw them play to 29 arenas and 9 stadiums, selling over 650,000 tickets.
