A COFFEE chain revealed it will close one of its Malvern stores next month.
Costa Coffee said its store on Church Street will officially close for trade on November 17.
From November, the only Costa Coffee in Malvern will be the one at the retail park on Roman Way.
A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “The Costa Coffee store on Church Street in Malvern will close for trade on November 17 2023.
"Customers can continue to enjoy their favourite Costa coffees in Malvern on Roman Way.”
The Church Street branch opened in Greater Malvern nearly ten years ago.
The coffee shop created eight to 10 new jobs after opening and had taken over the unit, which used to be a Superdrug.
Some shop owners had even created a petition against the Church Street branch before it opened after expressing fears it could damage local trade.
