A teenager was left hurt after a gang took his bike in Droitwich.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the robbery, which happened between 7.30pm and 8pm on Monday evening (October 16).

The 17-year-old boy was approached by eight men and two women while riding his bicycle around Victoria Square.

Police say one of the men tackled him off his bike before making off with it.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was left shaken.

PC David Evans said: “We would like to speak to anyone with information or who saw the robbery happen.

“We would also be interested in speaking to anyone who has doorbell or CCTV footage of the incident, or anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or captured dash cam footage.’’
