NEW lifesaving equipment has been installed outside a Worcestershire pub.

The Hop Pole in Droitwich now has a defibrillator and a bleed control kit installed outside the pub thanks to Community First Responders.

Community First Responders is a charity that aims to reach a potential life-threatening emergency in the first vital minutes before an ambulance crew arrives.

A spokesperson for Droitwich SNT said: "A new defib and a bleed control kit has been installed by the Community First Responders in Droitwich.

"The defib and bleed control kit has been erected outside the Hop Pole in Friar Street, Droitwich."
