A RETRO gaming bar in Worcester is preparing to make its move to a new, larger venue in Worcester city centre.
Retroids Arcade Bar, which is currently on New Street, is beginning to transform in its new location in College Street with striking graphics going up outside the venue.
The bar, which is filled with classic arcade and retro gaming machines and offers a range of craft beers and ciders, will be moving opposite the Worcester Cathedral in a unit previously home to Worcester Cycle Centre.
The space is roughly triple the size of its current space.

The signs have the venue's name on them and three separate big blue signs which read: "Pinball. Pixels. Pints."
On the store, a sign also reads: "Doin' our own thing since 2018."
Inside, a few old-fashioned arcade games can be seen.
In May, the retro gaming bar submitted a planning application to the council outlining their plans.
The proposed opening hours were 10am to 7pm between Monday and Wednesday, 10am to midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 12pm to 5pm every Sunday.
The move to College Street comes after plans to open in Pump Street fell through at the last minute last year.
Retroids revealed plans to move into one of the several empty units in Pump Street, and despite the move receiving the backing of Worcester City Council, it later fell apart because of ‘reasons beyond their control'.
Worcester Cycle Centre relocated to Hallow on the edge of the city in 2021 having spent 23 years in College Street.
An opening date for the new venue has not been revealed but the original Retroids in New Street remains open.
The bar offers a wide selection of arcade games and pinball machines as well as a bar and can be booked for private events.
There are no general admission bookings, people can turn up to play the arcade games and there is a licenced bar selling craft beer, ciders and soft drinks.
