ROYALTY is set to visit Malvern to celebrate a charity's long-serving employees and volunteers.

Princess Anne will be visiting the Citizens Advice Bureau in Prospect Close, Malvern tomorrow (Friday) to celebrate its employees' and volunteers' long service.

The Princess Royal will be greeted by staff and unveil a commemorative plaque from 11.25am. 

One of the employees who will be meeting Princess Anne in person is Richard West, head of advice services, who has been at the charity for over 30 years.

"It is a nice opportunity for staff and volunteers who all dedicate their time, no matter how long they are with us.

"It will be a special moment for them and for some a once-in-a-lifetime."

Citizens Advice is an independent organisation specialising in confidential information and advice to assist people with legal, debt, consumer, housing and other problems.

It has centres across the UK which run as independent charities.
