A WORCESTERSHIRE hotel's spa has received national recognition for its quality and cosiness.
The Elms Hotel and Spa in Abberley, near Worcester, has been named among the best cosy spas for autumn and winter by SpaSeekers.com.
Staff are celebrating the latest accolade for its Greenhouse Spa which has already won a host of awards.
Spa Seekers made their top picks of the cosiest spas, from across the country, calling the Elms "no ordinary country spa".
The team looked at spas where you can take a relaxing break from day-to-day life and keep warm inside this autumn.
And The Elms has made its top ten list, with an endorsement saying: "The Elms Hotel and Spa is no ordinary country spa.
"Though it may have manicured gardens, and architecture that could have been taken straight from Downton Abbey, the interior of the spa is not quite what you may expect.
"The two-storey Greenhouse Spa is unlike any other, with foliage tumbling from the walls and ceilings creating a botanical wonderland.
"Though it may be autumn outside, the tropical surroundings of the pool will transport you to a different climate - perfect for those craving a trip to warmer climes during the latter months of the year."
Mark Bevan, managing director, said: "We are over the moon with the news.
"The hotel went through a refurbishment during Covid and the spa is a big part of what we do.
"It has won various awards including best spa in the Good Spa Guide last year which we were also thrilled about.
"We are going from strength to strength."
Mr Bevan said they had grown their membership by 100 in the past 18 months and said people were impressed by the spa which is botanical-themed.
He said: "We are always looking to push on - we not so long ago opened the double treatment room, and the next piece in the puzzle will be how we develop the outdoor space. "
He added they had recently rebranded and launched a new website, theelmshotel.co.uk, to make it even easier for people to book.
