From Elvis to wine tasting, there's plenty to get up to in Worcester this weekend.

With the familiar sound of festive tunes already gracing our radio, timely shopping fayres complete Worcester's offering for the weekend.

Classic Cheese & Wine Tasting

First up, the Bottles Wine Shop & Merchants will host an exciting evening of Classic Cheese & Wine Tasting.

This so-called "cheesy rendezvous" is kicking off on this evening (November 3), from 7pm to 9pm.

The evening event will offer eight wine samples, each paired with a cheese.

The 'Beardy Wine Guy', Joe, promises attendees a 2-hour light-hearted fun-filled experience.

Each event offers new and different wines for regulars to get stuck into, with a ticket to this event hanging around at £30.

Craft Fayre & Christmas Gifts

On Saturday (November 4), head over to The Guildhall for the Craft Fayre & Christmas Gifts.

Starting at 9.30am and ending at 4pm, this fayre gives you the perfect opportunity to wander around 24 tables of locally handcrafted items.

One can discover turned wood to pyrography, to hair accessories and delightful fashion jewellery.

The entrance is free - a great chance to start Christmas shopping or finding that unique gift.

St Martin's Autumn Fair

Meanwhile, the St Martin's Autumn Fair is also set for Saturday from 11am to 2pm, with all proceeds going towards the church.

The fair at St Martin’s Church, London Road, is a grand, bustling market hosting a myriad of stalls and activities for children can be expected, alongside a prize draw, with a £200 Waitrose hamper, a Gtech lawn strimmer and a range of other gifts all up for grabs.

The event promises fun for the family, with an activities and play area for children on site.

Refreshments include soup and bread lunches to warm the belly.

The Elvis Years

Finally, the musical production The Elvis Years is coming to Swan Theatre on Saturday evening, with a 7.30pm start.

This riveting production claims to encapsulate the compelling story of the 'king of rock and roll' - Elvis Presley.

Mario Kombou, the original lead in the West End's Jailhouse Rock, will take the lead.

Tickets are priced at £28.50.
