Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday both take place this weekend with events taking place across the county.

There will be remembrance services taking place in Worcester, as well as in towns and villages around the county.

We’ve rounded up a few of the services taking place on Saturday and Sunday (November 11-12).

A Remembrance service is taking place at St John the Baptist Church, Claines on Sunday, supported by local Scouts, Guides and led by the Stourport Band.

The event starts with a parade to Claines Church for wreath laying at the War Memorial followed by a Remembrance Service in church. The parade sets off from the corner of St Anne’s Road at 10.20am.

After the service, the parade returns to the Claines Royal British Legion Club in Cornmeadow Lane, which opens its doors to the public. This year the Community Voices choir based in Claines will be singing at the club.
