SEVERN Trent Water (STW) said there have been no reports a flooded city road is due to a water leak.
A large puddle is on the side of the Hylton Road, on the roundabout approaching the turn into New Road.
There was so much water on the road on Wednesday morning (November 8) drivers were having to pull out wide to avoid it or cause a large splash on the pavements.
As we have previously reported there have been water leaks in the St John's area, so we asked STW if the flood was being caused by a water leak.
A spokesperson said it had no reports adding: "It looks like it could be surface water from the rain".
