MINI Pudsey Bears have been 'spotted' across Worcestershire as children and adults get creative to raise money for Children In Need.

Normal school uniform was replaced by yellow bear ears and spotty face paint for just one day as children and adults fundraised for Children in Need.

There was also lots of fun to be had as schools, businesses and community groups participated in fundraising challenges.

Pudsey Bear, along with Mayor Adrian Gregson, played the Ukulele and had a dance in the city centre to raise funds for the charity.

Pudsey also paid a visit to several Worcestershire schools including Pitmaston School in St Johns while children at Oasis Academy Warndon carried out 'Bearpees' - better known as burpees - to raise vital funds.

At The De Montfort School in Evesham, students and staff celebrated Odd Socks Day and wore different and odd socks to highlight and celebrate everybody's uniqueness.

They also held a bake sale alongside many other Worcestershire schools.

Little Teddie Goddard, from Pershore, walked more than 14 miles to raise money for the charity.

Suggested ways to get involved on the Children in Need website include dressing up, holding a bake sale, getting sponsored to play video games or joining in with Joe Wicks’ Bearpees challenge.

Organisations in Worcestershire that have been supported by Children in Need include YSS Worcester, which works with at-risk young people, Nurture Familieis CIC, ARCOS, Kemp House Trust and Sky Autism Support.
