The most "gigantic panto of them all" will be at Worcester Swan Theatre this festive period - as a story of bravery and beans is told by Worcester REP

Jack and The Beanstalk was last performed at the theatre over a decade ago and the cast say they are "over the moon (or beanstalk)" to be performing it once again.

Following their record-breaking success from last year with Cinderella, they hope to make this year’s pantomime an even bigger success, and are incredibly excited to bring this magical adventure to life this Christmas from Monday December 4 to Sunday January 7.

The legendary Ian Good will return as both Director and the delightful Dame Dotty for what is his 48th pantomime along with fan favourite Nathan Blythe, who played Buttons last year, as the hilarious Silly Billy. Also joining the team, is James Hastings as the young and adventurous hero Jack, Aimée Cupper as Jack’s lovely best friend Jill, Terrelle Kay as the magical Fairy Stringbean and this year’s evil villain will be Darryn Watkins, as the Giant’s henchman Fleshcreep.

Ian Good, director and also this year’s Dame, said: “I’m thrilled to be back with the Worcester REP team once again for what promises to be a giant of a pantomime.

"After the brilliant success of last year’s record-breaking pantomime, Cinderella, I am excited to build on this and make this year’s pantomime better than ever!

"It has been great working with such a talented company and I cannot wait to be bringing you and all of Worcester, this mega musical of a pantomime!”
