A Tesla driver has been banned from the road after using a mobile phone while driving on the motorway.
Benjamin Bonds, of Mistletoe Orchard, Martley, used his phone while driving on the northbound M5 between junction 6 for Worcester and junction 5 for Droitwich on January 23.
The 32-year-old had initially denied the offence but changed his plea to guilty before he was sentenced by Redditch magistrates on October 30.
Bonds was disqualified from driving for six months due to his repeat offending and fined £562.
He was also told to pay a victim surcharge of £225 and costs of £200.
