A VAN rolled across the motorway in an earlier M5 crash which happened before the road was closed.

Two people were injured during a crash between a van and a HGV between junctions 4a and 4, northbound on the M5.

The crash happened hours before a second collision on the same stretch of road between a van and a HGV, which has closed the road for several hours.

Two people managed to get themselves out from the rolled-over van before fire crews arrived at 6.41pm on Monday.
