A MAJOR road has closed after a person was hit by a vehicle.
Barbourne Road is closed off between St George's Lane North and just past The Swan on Barbourne Road.
West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Serviice are in attendance.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson: "We received a call at around 3.45pm this afternoon (November 28) with a report of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
"Our officers are currently at the incident on Barbourne Lane in Worcester, assisting with traffic whilst our colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service help the pedestrian."
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are not in attendance.
