easyJet has announced that its new three-aircraft base is opening early at Birmingham Airport.

This means that even more flights will become available from March 18, 2024 as the new base allows the airport to open 16 new routes.

In addition to 13 domestic and international services that easyJet already operates from Birmingham, customers will now be offered 29 routes across the UK, Europe and north Africa.

The Birmingham base is the airline’s first to open in the UK in over a decade and it will create around 100 direct jobs for pilots and crew as well as over 1,200 more indirect jobs.

Which flights will become available from March 2024?

The following flights from Birmingham Airport will become available.

From March 18, 2024:

  • Antalya – to operate twice a week, year-round
  • Barcelona – to operate three times a week, year-round

From March 19, 2024:

  • Alicante - to operate twice a week, year-round
  • Tenerife – to operate twice a week, year-round

From March 20, 2024:

  • Larnaca – to operate twice a week throughout summer

From March 21, 2024:

  • Malaga - to operate twice a week, year-round
  • Enfidha - to operate twice a week, year-round

  • Fuerteventura - to operate once a week, year-round

From April 23, 2024:

  • Rhodes - to operate once a week throughout summer

From May 1, 2024:

  • Corfu - to operate twice a week throughout summer

From May 3, 2024:

  • Kos - to operate once a week throughout summer

Flights are available to book from Thursday, November 30 via the easyJet website and the mobile app.
