A YELLOW weather warning for strong winds has been issued across Worcestershire.
Strong winds of up to 55mph have been predicted between 9am and 11.45pm on Saturday, the Met Office has said.
Winds will increase in the west during Saturday morning and then across other areas through the afternoon.
Gusts of between 45 to 55 mph are likely quite widespread, with winds then easing slowly from the west through to the evening.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said to expect some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport and bus and train services to be affected.
They also warned of short-term loss of power and delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.
