From some festive classical tunes to star-studded comedy, there's plenty to get up to in Worcester this weekend.

With a dance rave and a renowned tribute band of a legendary rock group, there's something for everyone this weekend.

FESTA Festive Party

Kicking off on tonight (8 December) at 9pm and going until 3am the following morning, is FESTA Festive Party at Velvet Nightclub.

This basement rave features up and coming producers like Birmingham's Ryan Resso, who's making waves in the Minimal Techno scene, and Coventry-based Levi Swarn.

Tickets are still available for the event for £9.60.

Forever Queen

Forever Queen, a tribute band honouring one of the most successful rock bands of all time, will also perform in Worcester tonight.

The show starts at 6pm at The Marrs Bar at Sansome Hall, with tickets in advance available for £12.50, or £15 on the door.

Expect a night of familiar Queen tunes and exceptional performances.

Stephen K Amos: Oxymoron

If you're in the mood for some laughs, join comedian Stephen K Amos at Huntingdon Hall at Deansway, Worcester tomorrow evening (9 December) at 7.30pm for his show 'Oxymoron'.

Priced between £17.50 to £19.50, this stand-up special is suitable for those aged 16 years and over.

Known for his appearances on BBC2's QI and Pilgrimage: The Road to Rome, ABC TV's The Project and BBC1's Live at the Apollo, the comedian returns to the stage after starring in London's West End musical My Fair Lady.

Handel's Messiah by Worcester Festival Choral Society

Is classical music more your speed?

Look no further than Worcester Cathedral, which at 7.30pm tomorrow evening will host Worcester Festival Choral Society's performance of Handel's Messiah.

Led by the cathedral's director of music Samuel Hudson, the choir's 140 voices will be accompanied by four of the UK's top soloists and the Meridian Sinfonia Baroque Orchestra.

The prices for the event range from £15.00 to £27.00.
