NONE of the six people taken to hospital after a crash near Bromyard suffered life-threatening injuries, West Midlands Ambulance Service has confirmed. 

We previously reported emergency services were called to a crash on the A44 east of Bringsty Common, towards Sapey Bridge, at 11.20am on Sunday morning, (December 10). 

West Mercia Police closed the road and asked road users to find alternative routes.

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 11.28am to help make the scene safe following a crash involving three vehicles.

Providing an update a WMAS spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A44.

"Three ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered three cars had been involved in a collision.

"Ambulance staff conveyed five patients to Hereford County Hospital; none of them had life-threatening injuries."
