PEOPLE looking to send their Christmas cards and presents before the big day will need to get their skates on if they want to ensure it will arrive on time.
At this busy time of year many of us end up leaving it to the last minute to send all our cards and presents in the post.
But the Royal Mail has warned the deadline for first and second post is fast approaching on its website.
The last posting date for sending Christmas cards, letters and parcels by second class is Monday, December 18.
The last date for first class is Tuesday, December 19.
Royal Mail recommends allowing plenty of time for posting, and posting items and gifts for Christmas early.
Sadly many of the international delivery dates have already passed.
