A MULTI-VEHICLE crash closed the M5 southbound causing long traffic tailbacks.
There are still six miles of congestion and 40-minute delays on the M5 southbound near junction 8, Strensham.
The crash initially closed the southbound carriageway of the M5 with traffic diverted via the exit and entry sliproad at about 8.30am.
Delays are still in place with traffic backed up on the southbound carriageway which has just reopened.
