It’s cabaret time again for WODYS – Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section – and this year the show looks back at Old Time Music Hall.

Before going ‘on the road’ taking their song and dance act to residential and care homes the 15 enthusiastic and talented cabaret youngsters gave a fantastic performance to parents and friends at St Mary’s Hall, Worcester.

Featuring everything from timeless songs such as the Lambeth Walk and Burlington Bertie to Any Old Iron and Where Did You Get That Hat? the show soon had the audience tapping their toes and singing along.

This year the magic of the bygone era has been brought alive by producers Ethan Cook, Rosie Bond and Rebecca Price – the latter two being former members of WODYS and now all in WODS, the society’s parent group.

After Christmas this fun-filled cabaret is set to bring a little magic to people in several of the county’s homes for the elderly.

The youngsters in the cabaret are - Alfie Thompson, Isabelle Mann, Sophie Maiden, Harvey Daniel, Lucy Cobban, Pheobe Wilson, Anya Hewston, Kate Sutton, Violet Jones, Emily Whittal-Williams, Tilly Francis, Elodie-Eve Hathaway, Neve Raven, Arabella Hathaway-Timms and Jessica Cosh.
