A Worcester tile retailer has closed after its parent company ceased trading.
Tile Choice in Sheriff Street is now shut and a message on the company’s website - and on notices in shop windows - said: “Unfortunately Tile Choice has ceased trading.”
Customers with outstanding orders are advised to email tilechoice@butcher-woods.co.uk with details of their order.
Butcher Woods is a corporate recovery firm that specialises in liquidation.
It has been reported that Tile Choice filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators earlier this week.
This gives a company 10 days in which it is protected from creditor action and during which time it can look for a way to proceed.
Tile Choice was founded in May 2001 and is based in Wolverhampton with stores across the Midlands including Kidderminster and Bilston.
According to their latest financial statements from 2022, Tile Choice Limited has 116 employees.
