Booming dance music is set to return to Ragley Hall this summer when Classic Ibiza visits for a fundraiser.

The family-friendly concert, which is over five hours of Balearic-infused dance music performed by the 32-piece Urban Soul Orchestra (USO), is scheduled for Saturday, July 6.

Drawing a crowd of nearly 60,000 people across the country last year, the team behind Classic Ibiza has confirmed they will once again collaborate to help raise funds with The Shakespeare Hospice.

The charity offers care and support to patients, their carers, and loved ones affected by life-limiting conditions.

Responsible for supporting over 1,000 patients and their families every year, the hospice provides an array of specialised services.

The Shakespeare Hospice's Karen Davies said: "We are delighted to be welcomed back as the charity of choice for Classic Ibiza for the third year running."

She added: "Last year’s event raised an incredible £6,000 for The Shakespeare Hospice and we hope to raise even more at this year’s event.

"The money raised will go a long way in helping us provide vital palliative and end of life care throughout South Warwickshire.

Worcester News: The event will raise money for The Shakespeare Hospice

"On behalf of all of the staff and patient's at The Shakespeare Hospice, we offer our sincerest thanks to the Classic Ibiza team for their continued support."

Classic Ibiza's Lisa Ward said: "For the first time, we’re giving our Ragley audience the option of donating to The Shakespeare Hospice when they purchase tickets from our website.

"If people can donate a fraction of these savings, I’m confident we can surpass last year’s total, assisting The Shakespeare Hospice to continue the incredible work it does."

In addition to ticket sales contributions, the evening will also feature various fundraising initiatives.

These include a £2.50 donation from every programme sold, a recommended £5 donation from press and guest-list entries, and collection points at all entry and exit gates.

Further funds will be raised at The Shakespeare Hospice shop, which will be selling a range of fun merchandise.

The event promises a vibrant experience with a mix of dance music classics and a laser and light show.
