POLICE have returned to a key city road after concerns were raised by residents about speeding there.
A Worcester safer neighbourhood team officer was in Midland Road on Wednesday, (January 17), with a speed gun.
Due to its location near the city centre, and access to Stanley Road Primary School and Newbridge School, the road is often busy with traffic.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson wrote on social media: "Due to concerns from the community of speeding on Midland Road, Worcester, PC Harvey conducted a speeding operation today."
Drivers who are stopped by the police could be given a verbal warning, given or sent a fixed penalty notice or ordered to go to court.
We reported last September police carried out a similar operation - on that occasion focusing on school pick-up times.
