THE hunt is on for a replacement to a city restaurant after it shut last year, it’s been revealed.
Wildwood Kitchen on Chapel Walk in Worcester permanently closed its doors in July 2023 after eight years.
Some six months on, Michael Lloyd, who is centre manager at Crowngate Shopping Centre, said while there has been no new occupant of the building, it is on the lookout for a replacement.
"Regarding Wildwood, it ceased operations in July 2023, and we are actively seeking a new occupant to fill the space in the near future," he said.
As the Wildwood Kitchen shut, a sign was placed on the door that read: "Closed permanently. Thanks for the support."
The restaurant was best known for serving up fresh salads, burgers and steaks having moved into the heart of the city centre when it took over the old House bar.
