A DEFENDANT is still yet to enter a plea to a charge of attempted murder.
We reported last month Ivan Potter, 81, of Alexander Avenue, had been charged with the offence.
Police were called to Alexander Avenue on Friday, December 8, last year after paramedics attended an incident which included the death of a woman.
Two men were taken to hospital - a 45-year-old man later remaining in hospital where his condition was described as stable.

During an appearance at Worcester Crown Court on January 15, 2024, Potter again didn't enter a plea.
The case was adjourned for the defendant to see a psychiatrist in relation to his fitness to plead.
He was told to return to the court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on March 26.
Police previously said they were continuing to make enquiries into the death of the 80-year-old woman.
