NEW data revealing the period of life expectancy from birth and in later life for Worcester has been released.
According to data provided by ONS (Office for National Statistics), men are predicted to live three years less than woman from when they are born.
The stats show life expectancy for men is 79 compared to 82 for woman.
It is a similar story for figures from the age of 65 which, again, show woman will live longer than men by more than two years.
The newly-released data also revealed life expectancy in Worcester had largely stabilised from the previous year.
